Wheel of Faith Symbols

A rotating wheel that brings together discovering the symbols of Christianity with reflection and a good deed.

The Wheel of Faith Symbols presents 12 symbols important to Christians. At each one the child learns what the symbol means and completes a related task - a good deed, appreciating the people around them, a short prayer or answering a question in their own words. As they turn the wheel, children discover one symbol after another and connect knowledge with reflection and action.

Wheel of Faith Symbols

12 symbols of Christianity - a meaning and a task at each one

How the wheel works

Turn it, discover, do a good deed.

The wheel turns on its axis, and the child stops it on a chosen symbol. First they learn what that symbol means, then they complete a short task connected to it. That is how knowledge joins reflection and concrete action.

A meaning and a task at each symbol

Each of the 12 symbols has its place on the wheel. At each one the child reads a short description of the meaning, then receives one task to complete - so that learning does not end with words, but turns into action.

Types of tasks
  • A good deed to do
  • Appreciating the people around you
  • A short prayer
  • Answering a question in your own words

Why choose it

Six reasons to choose the Wheel of Faith Symbols.

Twelve symbols in one

A broad overview of Christian symbolism - from the bread and the chalice to the cross and the dove, all on one rotating wheel.

Knowledge plus action

At each symbol the child not only learns its meaning, but also does a good deed, prays or answers in their own words.

The rotating mechanic engages

An element of surprise - children spin the wheel themselves and wait to see which symbol comes up. It draws them in and encourages another go.

For different age groups

From the youngest to older children - the level of engagement adapts to whoever is turning the wheel.

Movement in the open air

Turning the wheel and completing tasks is learning in motion, outdoors - religious formation beyond the catechism room.

Durable, made in Poland

A solid, rotating wheel resistant to the weather. A long-term investment, a ready-made tool for formation.

Where it works

Four contexts, one product.

By churches and communities The wheel invites children to play after the service and opens up conversations about the symbols of faith.
In faith schools and kindergartens A great complement to religion lessons - the symbols of faith in an accessible, active form.
At shrines and places of pilgrimage Short tasks and prayers fit beautifully into the atmosphere of a pilgrimage.
In day rooms and care centres Good deeds and reflection support the everyday formation work with children.
